Round clay vessels that are created by a gentle pinch from the center of the ball outwards --- A versatile and simple way of creating any form of vessel (bowls, cups, stylish vessels, and more).
KURINUKI
A Japanese hand building technique that refers to "carving" out --- Starting with a solid piece of clay that is hollowed out to create the interior space.
COIL A VESSEL
Created by coiling clay into spirals and building up the sides --- A beautiful and tedious way of creating various form functional and sculptural vessels.
PAINT YOUR POT
Freedom of time to create/complete/color your work.
CHILD'S PLAY
Kids come to create freely.
4 WEEK HAND BUILDING WORKSHOP
This four week program will introduce participants to various techniques of creating ceramic objects using their hands + simple tools. Throughout the workshop, participants will learn the fundamental techniques such as coil, pinch, and ,slab, including the Japanese method - Kurinuki. Each week will be dedicated to one or two methods. The last week will be dedicated to glazing ones creations.
POP-UPS
Through the summer we plan on bringing creatives to the space to host classes and workshops such as figure drawing, furniture making and many more activities to stimulate the mind, body and soul.
